Check out the celebrities that are putting their names and clothes on the line…
Rachel Bilson (Actress)
"Line Drying is great for your clothes and the environment."
Matt Rhys (Actor, Brothers and Sisters)
"Hang out your clothes to dry…not the planet."
Jenny Useldinger (Pro Surfer, sponsored by Roxy Quiksilver)
"Because I am always traveling to far off countries looking for secret surf spots line drying has become an important part of my lifestyle. I love that Hills is encouraging people to line dry as well because we all have to do our part to preserve Mother Nature."
Dannii Minogue (Television Personality, Australia's Got Talent, and The X Factor)
"Nothing could be finer than nature’s ECO Tumble Dryer!!!!!
Tip: to keep true color in your clothes and prevent fading – put your line/hoist in the shade."
Rahda Mitchell (Actress)

"Line Drying is a great way to live a green life."

Sophie Uliano (Author of "Gorgeously Green")
"I was raised in England, where despite the bad weather, it is the norm to line-dry your laundry. Living in sunny California, I can’t believe how few women have washing lines or drying racks in their yards and only use dyers.  Is it because people think a washing-line looks ugly or “low-rent” or is it because we just can’t be bothered? Granted, it takes a little more work: you’ve got to hang everything out, rather than just stuff it in a machine and some of your clothes may require ironing. Big deal! Special little cotton shirts, dresses or skirts need ironing anyway. In the heat that we have here in CA, clothes dry in less than 2 hours and try burying your head in a pile of air-dried laundry - it smells quite wonderful. Come on gals and guys, its time to get Gorgeously Green, stop using all that fossil fuel and save a wad of cash too."
Olivia Newton-John (Actress/Singer)

Line drying is something so typically Austrailian to me that I associate with my childhood. There is nothing that I love more than to take time to clear my head and hang the washing out on the line on a beautiful day - it makes  your clothes and linens smell so good and it is very eco-friendly. Our planet is our responsibility to take care of and line drying is one way in which we can all do our part to help the environment.

Kimberly Joseph (Actress, Lost)
"I grew up in Australia helping Mum hang washing out to dry on the Hills Hoist (and going for the odd swing as well)...nothing like the smell of sun dried t-shirts and linen.  With great weather being the #1 draw card here in Los Angeles, clothes dryers should be a thing of the past. Bring on the Hills Hoist, I say!!"
Amanda Detmer (Actress)
"One of my fondest memories as a child was going to visit my grandparents in the summer and helping hang the laundry up on the clothesline. As a woman who loves her clothes, I line dry to keep them looking their best while simultaneously helping the environment."
Aaron Howles (Actor, Swingtown)
"Living a green life is very important to me, and I think it’s great that my generation is beginning to take such an active role in reversing the damage that has been done to our planet. Line drying is one of many great ways to help preserve the environment for all humans and animals."
Melissa George (Actress)
